The South Euclid-Lyndhurst School District offers the nationally renowned AVID program at Charles F. Brush High School, Memorial Junior High School and Greenview Upper Elementary School.
AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) is a fourth- through twelfth-grade system that prepares students in the academic middle for four-year college eligibility. These students are typically low-income or immigrants who are capable of completing a college-prep curriculum but are falling short of their potential.
AVID prepares students with rigorous learning strategies and curriculum to help them succeed in and out of the classroom. SE-L AVID students work with tutors to concentrate on challenging subject content and have access to outside resources to progress their achievement.
