COLLEGE APPLICATIONS:
Seniors may continue to complete and turn in college applications after winter break. Be sure to adhere to the admission deadlines. It will take from 4-6 weeks for a college to return a decision. Students can contact the college directly about the status of their application. If you receive a notice from the college about missing items from your application please let the guidance office know right away. We can help with this. If you have applied "on line" you must inform the guidance office so we can send your high school transcript to the college. Colleges will not make a decision about your application until an official transcript is received from the high school.
SCHOLARSHIPS: ARE BEGINNING TO ARRIVE IN THE GUIDANCE OFFICE.
Students are encouraged to check the scholarship files at least weekly. Any scholarship you pick up from the guidance office must be returned to the guidance office for processing. Many local, state and national scholarships are available. Some scholarships will direct you to a web site in order to apply. Deadlines are very important. Please follow the directions and meet the deadlines.
CLEVELAND SCHOLARSHIP:
Cleveland scholarship will have a representative available for individual student and parent appointments. A letter will be coming home soon with this information.
