Meet the Academics, Technology, Security and Innovation Staff

Mr. Kaple

Mr. Dominick Kaple serves the South Euclid Lyndhurst City Schools as Assistant Superintendent. His primary responsibilities are to provide leadership, support and resources for the development and implementation of SEL’s Academic Programs, Technology, Security & Innovation. Additionally, he directs the various continuous improvement processes and initiatives geared toward increasing student achievement. Mr. Kaple is also responsible for oversight of teaching and learning, curriculum, instructional practice, assessment, progress monitoring, professional development, educational resources and instructional technology.

With over 13 years of experience, Mr. Kaple has an extensive background in public education.  He previously served as our Memorial JH Principal for four years, and has also practiced educational leadership in the capacity of Assistant Principal, Dean of Students, Teacher and Varsity Coach. Mr. Kaple is also a part of many professional organizations throughout the State of Ohio. Mr. Kaple enjoys his role and finds it rewarding as he makes a positive contribution to society through the lives of current and future generations.

Mrs. Bastock

Mrs. Rae Bastock serves the South Euclid Lyndhurst School DIstrict as the Director of Elementary and Secondary Recovery and Relief. Her primary responsibilities are to provide leadership and support in the area of curriculum development and instruction. She works with the district leadership team in providing professional development in teaching and learning, aligning assessments, progress monitoring, implementing the Ohio Improvement Process and curriculum development.


Mrs. Bastock has over 27 years of experience in public education.  She has taught various grade levels and has served as a principal in middle, junior high and high school.  In addition, she also has experience in roles at the district level implementing curriculum, instructional frameworks and many state and federal initiatives. Mrs. Bastock received her bachelors in Elementary Education from The University of Akron and her Masters from Ashland University.  She is excited to be a part of the South Euclid Lyndhurst family!

Ms. Bishko

Ms. Tamara Bishko serves the South Euclid Lyndhurst School District as the Deputy Director of Academics K-12.  Her primary responsibilities are to provide leadership and support in the area of curriculum development and instruction. She works with the district leadership and curriculum team to provide professional development that supports instruction, assessment alignment, progress monitoring, the implementation of the Ohio Improvement Process and curriculum development. She also provides additional support to teachers in the implementation of explicit instructional practices that will enhance the curriculum and improve academic performance. 


Ms. Bishko has had over 20 years of experience in public education.  She has taught various grade levels and has served as a Title I Lead Teacher and an Instructional Coach. Ms. Bishko received her bachelors in Elementary Education and  her Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Cleveland State University. She completed the Inspired Leadership Program through the ESC earning her license in administration. Having had all three of her children attend the South Euclid Lyndhurst City Schools she is excited to be a part of the South Euclid Lyndhurst educational family!

Mrs. Lee-Ann Reisland

Mrs. Lee-Ann Reisland serves as the Secondary Curriculum Specialist at Brush High School. She focuses on curriculum development, encourages the use of high-yield instructional strategies, and believes that using literacy strategies in all classrooms deepens learning. She has 25 years of experience in education and has previously worked as a high school English teacher, building administrator, curriculum director, and Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning. She attended John Carroll University earning a Bachelor of Arts in English, and Cleveland State University earning a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction. She also completed both the Principal and Superintendent licensure programs at CSU. Mrs. Reisland is really excited to be a part of the Arc community!

Mr. Morton

Mr. Ryan Morton’s role centers around the effective integration of technology into teaching and learning that is embeded throughout our classrooms and schools.  His professional experience includes work as an instructional technology coach, high school English teacher, and a wrestling coach. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Cleveland State University and his Master of Education in Instructional Technology from Kent State University. Having previously worked in several other public school districts within the local First Ring Collaborative, he is now excited and proud to be an ARC!

Ms. Phile

Ms. Edna Phile serves as the EMIS and Data Specialist for the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools, and in this capacity, works to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and oversight of the collection of information and verification process. She has an extensive background in similar positions, most recently having served as EMIS Coordinator/Special Ed Secretary at Cardinal Local Schools and Student Support Liaison at Lake Geauga Computer Association (LGCA). In addition, Edna’s past work experiences include her time as Implementation Specialist at Infinite Campus and Partner Integration Specialist at Pay Theory. Her well-rounded experience in the world of education also includes substitute teachers, attendance secretary, lunch cashier, and coaching her favorite sports, basketball, and track. Mr. Wylie

Mr. Tyler Wylie serves as the Security Supervisor for the SEL Schools. He is excited to take on his new role and partner with local law enforcement agencies, parents and students, and all staff members to foster a safe learning environment. Tyler enjoys fostering strong working relationships with those he interacts with. His goal in this position is to ensure all aspects of the school district are provided with the highest level of safety and security to allow students to solely focus on their academics and student life. Mr. Wylie is a is a military veteran, former police officer and federal agent, was previously the head of security for Gilmore Academy, and holds several safety and security certifications.
