Chamber, School District Build Summer Internship Program
The South Euclid-Lyndhurst City School District has once again partnered with the Heights-Hillcrest Regional Chamber of Commerce to build upon the successful Bridge to Success internship program that ran last summer.  The internship program is designed to help students from Brush High School and
ArcTech Academy explore career opportunities and develop workplace skills.
Building upon the successful placement of six students last year, this year's program will include twelve students who will be exposed to career opportunities in both the public and private sector.  Students will attend a series of job training workshops this spring and then will be placed in their summer internship.  The Chamber is working to build partnerships with community businesses that will host summer interns and the school district will host interns as well working on the summer grounds crew.  All student internships are fully funded through a $10,000 grant awarded by the Legacy Village Lyndhurst Community Fund of The Cleveland Foundation.
