Five Track and Field Team Members Advance to Regionals
The Brush Track & Field Team competed in the OHSAA Division I District Championship at Mentor High School on May 16th and May 18th. Five individuals have advanced to the regional meet to be contested at Austintown-Fitch High School on May 23rdand May 25th. Senior Jalen Yancy took first place in the high jump with a height of 6’-3” and second in the long jump with a distance of 22’-0”. Senior Kalif Aughburns placed fourth in the discus throw with a distance of 142’-7”. Senior Dan Loya placed fourth in the 800m run with a time of 1:58.9. Senior Tianna O’Neal placed third in the 400m run with a time of 1:00.36. Junior Becky Rohwer placed second in the 1600m run with a time of 5:19.85. Congratulations and good luck at regionals!
