SE-L Launches New Branding Campaign

The idea behind the “I Am SE-L” campaign is to highlight the success that current and former students have experienced as a result of the school district. Families of these students are also highlighted to demonstrate the impact the students’ success has had on the family.

Students and parents participated in a video testimonial campaign that will be featured in a series of on-air spots to be broadcasted on Channel 22, Channel 99 and the District’s new Web site. Others have submitted written testimonials that will be included in upcoming editions of the District’s newsletter. New street banners were also developed and includes students from around the District. Each banner has messaging that reflects what the District values in a student’s education. AVTV Productions, of Brush High School, produced the videos, while junior Ashley McLoughlin photographed the students for the banners.

“Our staff has always known of the successful students that the District produces. The new branding campaign will allow us to better share, with the rest of the community, the tremendous successes that our students have been able to achieve,” said SE-L Superintendent Dr. William Zelei.

In addition to the “I Am SE-L” campaign, the District recently launched a new interactive and user-friendly Web site. The Web site features more District news and information, and is designed to be more engaging with the community than the old site. The District also redesigned its newsletter to allow more information to be communicated with the public. Ashley McLoughlin and Joe Pollack, owner of Pollack Studios, also generously donated their photography services to help develop the site and newsletter.

Community members are encouraged to share their inspirational stories about their experience with the SE-L School District. Stories should be submitted on the new web site at www.sel.k12.oh.us/IAM-SEL.aspx, or to Kristen Romito at [email protected] or be mailed to Kristen Romito at 5044 Mayfield Rd., Lyndhurst, Ohio 44124.
