The South Euclid-Lyndhurst School District will be sharing the results of the Superintendent Selection Focus Group meetings that were held in December and January. A summation of the results will be presented at the next school board meeting which is being held on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium located on the 2nd floor of the Administration Building, 5044 Mayfield Road in Lyndhurst.
A total of 15 separate meeting here held where District employees, city leaders, Booster group members, PTA leaders and community members were invited to provide input on what they were looking for in a new Superintendent. The purpose of the meetings was to see what qualities, experience and characteristics emerged as desired salient traits in the next Superintendent of Schools.
The presentation will be facilitated by the management team of Finding Leaders. Finding Leaders is an organization whose mission is to help school districts find and support ideal leaders. They are skilled in the identification, development and selection of successful leaders.
