To mark the end of the 3rd grading quarter and reward students for meeting behavior goals, Memorial Junior High hosted a PBIS event on Friday, March 23, 2018. The building-wide event provided students a variety of fun activities to enjoy before the official start of Spring Break. An exciting tug-of-war competition between the 7th and 8th grade classes kicked off the festivities in the new gym. Students were then dismissed to pursue activities throughout the building which included a dodgeball tournament in the old gym and face-painting in the cafeteria. The PBIS system promotes positive behaviors through fun school-wide events and using Arc Bucks, daily rewards given to students for “doing the right thing at the right time,” which students can use to enter regular prize drawings. Well done Memorial!
