Edmund Hall Selected as New Brush High School Football Coach

South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools named Eddie Hall as its next Head Football coach at Brush High School, following board approval earlier this week. Hall served as the offensive coordinator at Lorain High School and assistant coach during the past eight years. He becomes the 20th Head Football coach in the 90+ year history of Brush Football.

“The best candidate for the position was made after an intensive interview process over the past three weeks,” said district superintendent, Linda N. Reid. “We welcome Eddie Hall to our SEL family.” Hall was hired after a pool of almost 50 applicants submitted for the vacancy that was recently created with the departure of Coach Jeff Fink

“We feel that Coach Hall brings the excitement and true caring for the kids that will continue our program heading in the right direction,” said Athletic Administrator Mike Murphy. “We had some very good applicants, but Coach Hall was able to separate himself from the others with his passion for kids!”

While Hall was at Lorain, the Titans advanced to the playoffs 3 out of the past 4 seasons, including winning their 1st two playoff games and advancing to the Regional semi-final game in 2016. He has coached multiple athletes that have successfully gone on to play at the collegiate and pro levels. Hall is also currently the Head Track Coach at Lorain HS.  Hall is a Lorain High School graduate. He continued his education at Seton Hill University where he received his B.S. in Biology. He also received his Masters of Education degree from Kent State University.
