The SEL Schools would like to congratulate the Brush Boys Varsity Basketball Team, which won their second consecutive WRC Championship on Tuesday Night, clinching at least a share of the conference title with a 65-55 win over Kenston. The Arcs were led by the stellar performance of 6-9 Sophomore, John Hugley, who finished the night with 23 points, and who has averaged nearly 18 points per game, over the last four contests. With the win, Brush improved to 15-6 on the season and 11-2 in the WRC. Over the past two seasons, the Arcs are an impressive 24-3 in league play. Junior DJ Dial now has 978 career points, and is 22 points from becoming only the fifth Arc in school history to go over 1,000 points. The Arcs finish off the regular season on Friday with a trip to Willoughby South, before hosting OHSAA tournament play on March 3, 2018 at 7 pm, taking on the winner of East Tech and Riverside. The Arcs earned the #2-seed in the Division I Euclid District. Congratulations to the Brush Boys Varsity Basketball Team!
