Growing, strengthening and maintaining community partnerships is an important goal of the SEL Schools. To help accomplish this goal, each school building implements various initiatives and outreach events with community partners.  Greenview Principal Kelly Murphy recently hosted civic leaders from both The City of South Euclid and City of Lyndhurst as a helpful way to foster greater awareness of the many exciting programs and resources available to students at Greenview.  Titled “Muffins with Murphy", topics covered during the event included academic offerings and special education services, in addition to The Link, Greenview’s Tier II behavior intervention center.  5th grade ambassadors for Conscious Discipline, Greenview’s school counseling program, greeted each of the guests and presented on the Conscious Discipline strategies currently being utilized in their classrooms.  The civic leaders also viewed the new Greenview Video Profile created by students and staff from the Brush AVTV group.  Overall, the event provided an opportunity for students, staff and civic leaders to connect and create a stronger partnership between the SEL Schools and the communities served by the district.
