The SEL Schools’ review of Destination 2018, the District’s 5-Year Strategic Plan is presently underway, with group of community members, joined by staff members reviewing the components of the document that was created five years ago. After a kick-off meeting that took place in early March, groups of individuals were organized to expressly review the four areas-of-focus contained within the strategic plan, including Teaching and Instruction, Communications and Community Partnerships, School Community Climate and Facilities. These four sub-committees have been working over the last two months to gauge the accomplishment of the various action steps outlined in the plan. Once the review is completed, a revised plan will be developed and shared with the community. The SEL Schools would like to thank the individuals who are currently volunteering their time to serve on the various sub-committees of the Strategic Planning review process.
