Greenview students from 4th, 5th and 6th grade recently participated in an online Mangahigh Math Challenge over spring break, and their performance was nothing short of extraordinary.  The students’ collective efforts in the math competition placed them in the top three schools in the nation!  Approximately ten students participated, with four earning gold medals:
1st Place - Angelo Fatica (253 points)

2nd Place - Sid Daouk (239 points)

3rd Place - Sujood Yakout (171 points)

4th Place - Graham Wilde (150 points)

Fellow students Brendan Scheuer, Nomar Tobias, Adrianna Steiner, Willow Bacon, Jada Butler, and Bailey Hodge contributed to the impressive accomplishment as well.  The hard work of participating students also earned Greenview Upper Elementary a $350 Amazon gift card. Mangahigh was created by educators and uses a game-based learning format to provide students an engaging, personalized way to learn math concepts.  Results are displayed in real-time and teachers can track student progress quickly and easily.  The noteworthy accomplishment achieved by Greenview is a testament to the commitment of both students and teachers to academic achievement.  Way to go, Greenview!!
