Brush Student Congress Hosts Senior Citizens with Entertainment and Service

seniors

The Student Congress at Charles F. Brush High School hosted approximately 40 senior citizens with its yearly luncheon, intended to demonstrate the appreciation our students have for our “Greatest Generation.” Under the direction of advisor Aaron Agrast, nearly a dozen members of the Student Congress welcomed senior citizens with breakfast and then a full itinerary of performances by various high school student groups. The gathering began with a student introduction and words from Mr. Williamson. Some of the performances included the String Quartet and Varsity Singers/Chorale all in the Brush High School library that featured many works of art courtesy of the Senior Art Show Exploration. Thank you to the Student Congress for hosting this wonderful event, for the senior citizens who participated and everyone else who took time to make the honoring of our friends from the Community Partnership on Aging a successful event.
