Rowland Elementary Teams Up with South Euclid Children’s Library for Interactive Session

Rowland Elementary School was host to representatives from the South Euclid Children’s Library earlier this month, where three pre-school classes participated in a Sensory Story Time. Specifically, students in Mr. Jason, Mrs. Moughan and Miss Theresa’s preschool classes enjoyed the highly interactive learning session. Special presenters and guests to elementary classrooms always have the tendency to enliven the learning environment and such was the case with Miss Mary and Miss Eboni, who helped advance the coursework of these preschoolers with their story about the Very Hungry Catepillar. They also brought bubbles for the students to have some fun with as well. The students are currently learning about plant and butterfly life cycles, as well as the changes associated with the spring weather and so this lesson was very fitting for the class. Rowland Elementary Schools would like to thank the South Euclid Children’s Library for their willingness to extend this learning opportunity to the students.
