Memorial Junior High Science Expo a Success!

On Monday, May 8th, Memorial Junior High School hosted a Science Expo for students, staff, administration, family and friends. During the event, Memorial students displayed a wide array of projects which demonstrated content they have been studying over the course of the school year. Specifically, projects by Memorial’s 8th graders reflected a recent focus on genetics and a large variety of disorders that can occur in the human body. 7th graders showcased projects which covered a wide range of topics featured in the science curriculum, including energy, natural habitats and ecosystems.

Throughout the night, parents, staff and administrators in attendance had the opportunity to vote on each project, giving students and groups who participated in the Expo a chance to win various prizes.  Memorial Junior High could not be more thrilled with this year’s event, as it was the best turn out in years for students, staff and the SEL community! The SEL Schools would like to thank all students, staff, administrators and parents who helped to make this year’s Memorial Junior High Science Expo as success!
