Blake Gordon, an 8th grade student at Memorial Junior High School, was recently selected to participate in the US Soccer Federation International’s Development Academy. Blake is an accomplished soccer student-athlete, and inclusion in this Academy will expose Blake to playing with some of the top soccer talent in the entire nation. Even more specifically, the Development Academy is designed to facilitate the identification of prospective Olympic Youth National Players. It’s no surprise that Blake has ascended to such heights in the world of youth soccer, since Blake is the younger brother of Brush Varsity Soccer captain Bryce, and has been tagging along with his older brother to soccer practices since he was 4 years old. The SEL Schools congratulates Blake Gordon on this major accomplishment, and wishes him all the best in this endeavor.
