Officers from the Lyndhurst Police Department provided A.L.I.C.E training to 7th grade students and new 8th grade students on Tuesday, August 21, 2018.  A.L.I.C.E. training, which stands for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate, has been a key component of Memorial’s school lockdown protocol for the past two years, and is used by over 4,200 K-12 schools nationwide.  Sgt. Reece and School Resource Officer Kathy Tomaro led the training session which helped students learn about each step of the program and understand the importance of being prepared in the event of a school lockdown.  The SEL Schools wish to thank the Lyndhurst Police Department for promoting the safety and security of our students.
