8th Graders Take Ownership of 1st Quarter PBIS Activities

Memorial PBIS tug of war tournament

As part of the school-wide PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Support) program at Memorial Junior High, students who consistently exhibit positive behavior are rewarded at the end of each academic quarter with an afternoon of fun activities.  For this school year’s first quarter PBIS event, 8th graders were given the opportunity to select the organized games, which included tug-of-war and dodgeball in both school gymnasiums.  Students competed against each other by grade level, while several staff members, including Principal Dominick Kaple joined the fun as well!  Congrats to the students at Memorial Junior High School on a successful first quarter!  Keep up the great work!
