Brush Gifted Education Students Attend Professional Public Speaking Workshop

gifted

Our gifted education students recently participated in a public speaking workshop hosted by the Educational Service Center of Cuyahoga County. Students learned some lifelong strategies to assist with their future endeavors as potential leaders. As we know, public speaking will be a huge part of their lives, as they grow into productive members of society. The workshop focused on such skills as fear reduction, preparation tips, presentation design, and building a winning style.

The presenter, Lisa Ryan, president of Grategy, has an impressive resume of helping all types professionals, and worked extremely well with students from several surrounding districts.  Our own SEL students performed admirably.

Students interacted beautifully with students from the several surrounding districts.  We continue to be proactive with producing lifelong learning experiences and honoring our mission to educate, inspire and empower students to be high achieving contributing members of a global society.
