Greenview Celebrates Strong Start

assembly

Greenview Upper Elementary hosted a fun Incentive Assembly in the school gym on Friday, September 28, 2018, to celebrate and reward students for their academic and social successes.  Students participated in a wide variety of activities including a modified version of the classic children’s game, Hungry, Hungry Hippos.  During the game, students were grouped into pairs, with one student laying head first on a wheeled cart, while the other student stood behind and held their feet up.  Each pair of students worked together to wheel the cart towards a large pile of multi-colored kickballs in the center of the basketball court and grab as many as possible with a plastic milk crate before a timer went off. Greenview seeks to reward students for positive achievement and behavior with various incentives, including the recent assembly, as part of its PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention Supports) program.  Great job by all ARCS at Greenview Upper Elementary!
