SEL would like to publically thank Mr. Paul Pestello for his years of service as our treasurer and wish him well in his new position. Mr. Pestello will be leaving us effective June 30, 2019.

 

Mr. John W. Scott has joined us as an interim treasurer and will remain with the district until Mr. Pestello’s replacement is selected and approved by the Board of Education.

 

The Board of Education has officially launched a search effort to hire a new treasurer. This effort includes contracting with Finding Leaders, an experienced and respected search firm. A comprehensive timeline has been formulated for the process.  Finding Leaders is currently conducting interviews and screening candidates. Board of Education interviews will be conducted between July 9th and July 24th with the intent of having the new treasurer’s contract approved by early August 2019.
