A representative from the South Euclid Lyndhurst branch of Cuyahoga County Public Library visited Adrian Elementary on Monday, May 20, 2019, to share about an exciting summer reading program. Titled Grand Slam Summer Reading Game 2019, the program runs from June 1st through August 3rd and features a game board which students mark for every twenty minutes of reading completed. Students can bring their game board to the library to be stamped by a librarian and will have the opportunity to win a variety of prizes based on the total number of hours of reading completed. Local companies and restaurants sponsoring prizes for the Grand Slam Summer Reading Game include Cleveland Indians, Mitchell’s Ice Cream, Chipotle, Chuck E. Cheese and Cleveland Monsters. Students can learn more about the 2019 summer reading program and register to play by visiting the Cuyahoga County Public Library’s website.
