The Spring concert season was in full swing recently as the Greenview band performed for parents, family members and other participants from the community. Held on May 20, 2019, the Greenview band consisted of music being interpreted and performed by students and included the flute, clarinet, trumpet and trombone. This early exposure to the performing arts is a great way to show young students the values, skills and characteristics that can be developed by those who choose to play an instrument. The Greenview Band falls under the overall direction of Mr. Vandall, who deserves a special congratulations for his preparation and work. The entire audience was treated by a special number performed by the musical talents of High School Jazz Band director John Shamp. Thank you to everyone who participated and that made this day a special one for our Greenview students.
