Josh Hill Becomes SEL Schools’ New Treasurer


Josh Hill was officially hired as the new Treasurer of the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools by a unanimous vote of the Board of Education at a Special Meeting held on Monday, July 29, 2019. The hiring comes at the completion of an exhaustive hiring process, overseen by Finding Leaders, a renowned, professional search firm, where many highly qualified applicants were interviewed.

“The SEL Schools formally welcomes Mr. Hill as the new Treasurer of our District,” said SEL Schools Board President Stefanie Rhine. “His experience as Treasurer, professionalism and eagerness to join our team best suited Mr. Hill for this position.” 

Mr. Hill joins the SEL Schools with a tremendous amount of public education and finance experience, serving as Treasurer most recently in the Lorain City Schools and the Sheffield-Sheffield Lake City Schools, and as Assistant Treasurer in the Cloverleaf Schools. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and a Master’s in Business Administration from Cleveland State University. Prior to his time in public education finance, Mr. Hill also spent time in the Cuyahoga County Auditor’s Office. 

“I’m excited about the direction of the District,” said Mr. Hill. “I look forward to bringing a positive, goal-oriented imprint to the Treasurer’s Office.
