ESSR Program Creates Fitness Stations for Preschool Students

Brush Fitness and Wellness Coordinator Mr. Ryan Dugan and a group of students enrolled in the Excel TECC Exercise Science Sports Rehabilitation (ESSR) program recently created fitness stations for all students in the District’s preschool program located at Rowland Elementary School. Students of all abilities participated in various exercises and games to improve their overall health.  While participating, students practiced counting, taking turns, waiting in a line and cheering on their friends.  The sensorimotor activities are a critical way for young children to learn and provide a fun and refreshing approach which students greatly enjoy.  Please visit this helpful online resource for more great reasons to exercise with your child.  Available to juniors and seniors, the ESSR program is hosted at Brush High School and provides students from Brush and other participating schools the opportunity to study at the state-of-the-art ArcFit Wellness Complex and earn up to 6 college credit hours. The preschool staff wishes to give a huge shout-out to Mr. Dugan and his Excel TECC ESSR students for creating fun, fitness-based activities for our students!
