Adrian Celebrates African American Achievement

Adrian students gathered in the gymnasium recently to celebrate Black History month and share knowledge of important facts and topics with each other regarding this special time of the year. In a variety of presentation styles, students exhibited the accomplishments of African Americans in different parts of our culture. During one part of the assembly, students shared significant achievements one-by-one with a microphone. As a celebratory exercise, students from one grade performed an interactive dance routine, which electrified the audience with cheers and excitement. Parents lined the back of the gymnasium and observed the meaningful gathering of students with pride and enjoyment. Congratulations to the students of Adrian Elementary School for taking the time to honor, recognize and celebrate the wide-ranging achievements of African Americans during Black History Month.
