Registration is now open for the 3rd Annual SELEBRATE MOMS 5K Run and 1 Mile Walk Event, which will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 12 PM at Brush High School. Hosted by the SEL Wellness Committee, the family-oriented event is open to people of all fitness levels and is a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the contributions of mothers and mother-figures, as well as promote the benefits of a healthy, active lifestyle. Proceeds from the event will used to fund various educational experiences and support the learning needs of students in the SEL Schools. Individuals can register online or print out the registration form and mail it to the return address listed. Registration on the day of the event begins at 8:30 AM, with the 5K Run scheduled to begin at 9:30 AM. A variety of family-fun activities will follow the 5K Run at Korb Field, including a live DJ, carnival games, karaoke, Brush High School student performances, and youth sports drills.
