Over one-hundred-fifty students, parents and community members laced up their running shoes and participated in the 3rd Annual SELEBRATE MOMS 5K Run and 1-Mile Walk on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Brush High School. Brush student Tyrie Liddell, a member of the cross country and track teams, won the 5K event for the third consecutive year with a time of 17:24! Following the race, students and their families enjoyed a live DJ, carnival games, performances by Brush student groups and youth sports drills at Korb Field. Proceeds from the event will be used to fund various educational experiences and support the learning needs of students in the district.
