Brush Boys Varsity Soccer Team Crowned Conference Champs for First Time Since 2004

The Boys Varsity Soccer team won its first conference championship since 2004.  Under the leadership of Head Coach Mike Dimatteo, the Brush Arcs Boys Soccer team had only one loss in the conference this season, which clinched the Conference Championship for the Arcs!

The Arcs went 2-0 last week, as the team swept past Garfield Heights on Tuesday, 6-0 in its final home game/Senior Night and defeated Cleveland Heights on Thursday, 3-2, in its final road game.  With the two victories, the Arcs finished the regular season with a very strong 10-5-1 record.

As a result of the team's strong regular season, the Arcs were selected as the fifth playoff seed in their division and will face seventh seed Willoughby South on Wednesday, October 16th.  The game will be home at Brush's Korb Field.  Kickoff is at 7:00 PM.  A victory on Wednesday will allow Brush to advance to play at Eastlake North on Saturday, October 19th.  This sectional final would be played at noon on Homecoming Weekend.

Please come out and cheer your 2013 Conference Champion Brush Boys Varsity Soccer Team onto victory on Wednesday!
