South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools Receives $1,000 Grant from Walmart!

The South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools proudly received a generous donation of $1,000 from Walmart during their recent grand opening of their new store in South Euclid. The donation establishes yet another partnership between the schools and the business community.

Walmart demonstrates a willingness to engage in grant making with school districts which align with its Foundation’s key areas of focus. Specifically, the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools plans to use the funding to help expand a welcome packet for new students and families to the district, thereby creating an inviting environment throughout the district for all newcomers. The welcome packet will further educate new residents of the district about all that the district and the cities of South Euclid and Lyndhurst have to offer.

The donation also helps to fulfill certain aspects of the recently adopted strategic plan for the SEL Schools, where the schools strive to develop partnerships with community businesses. The SEL Schools wishes to thank Walmart for its kindness and generosity and officially welcomes them as a business partner of the district.
