Flyer Central Utilized as More Efficient Method of Communicating by South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools

As a method of more efficiently communicating information between the classroom and students’ homes, The South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools introduced ‘Flyer Central’ earlier in the 2013-2014 school year. Flyer Central is a web-based, centralized location for electronically saved flyers throughout the district, which is easily accessible from the district’s Web page.  In the past several months since Flyer Central was introduced, the SEL Schools has received positive feedback regarding the transition to this highly centralized, easy-to-access resource, thereby saving time from copying and inserting paper flyers into students’ individual folders or book bags.

“The SEL Schools is simplifying its methods of communications and in the process, making more efficient use of its resources,” said district superintendent, Linda N. Reid. “Having one web-based destination for our district flyers, keeps our teachers focused on instruction and students, rather than exhausting a substantial amount of time and effort to copy and distribute information as was done in the past.”

Flyers are regularly posted every Wednesday on the district Web site and are organized into four categories, which include Athletic Flyers, SEL Municipal/Hillcrest Community Flyers, General Flyers and PTA Flyers. To navigate to the Flyer Central web site, please see the left side of the district home page. The web site also has information on how to submit a flyer for posting. For more information, please contact the SEL Schools at 216-691-2000.
