Korb Field Turf Installation is Almost Complete!

The final touches of the overhaul to the playing surface at Korb Field are taking place.  Crews were laying down rubber filaments atop the brand new field turf that has been installed over the last two weeks. The installation, which began just over two weeks ago, included the removal of the old turf and playing surface, the laying down of new synthetic turf and laying down the yard line numbers, lines and hash marks. With this next step completed, the SEL School District is looking forward to utilizing the new turf as practice for the fall sports athletic season gets underway in August.

The installation of the scoreboard, funded through advertising dollars, will be the next major milestone of the project, and the SEL Schools will keep the community updated on the progress of the process!
