Memorial Sends High Achievers to CASE to get WISER!

The South Euclid Lyndhurst School District and Memorial Junior High continues to support outstanding opportunities for its students who want to achieve.

Twenty five seventh and eighth grade girls went on an educational excursion to CWRU to meet with an organization called WISER (Women in Science and Engineering Roundtable). As stated on CWRU website, WISER strives to promote the inclusion and success of all women pursuing a STEM related career at Case Western Reserve University through leadership, mentorship, and outreach. WISER is open to all female CWRU students (undergraduate, graduate and professional) with a major or planning a career in science, technology, engineering, medicine or math.

This crew of young women represented their school well as they toured the campus in small groups with college students, participated in STEM related activities, and had a chance to ask questions regarding the college experience.
