SEL Elementary Schools and South Euclid Lyndhurst Public Library Partner to Promote Reading

A recent exchange of interactions between the elementary schools of the South Euclid Lyndhurst School District and the South Euclid Lyndhurst Public Library has given each and every student who participated the opportunity receive their very own library card. Thanks to President Barack Obama’s recently announced Library Challenge: ConnectED, students in our school district as well as across the country have the chance to receive public library cards through their schools to access the resources available at the public library. A recent visit by Rowland Elementary and Greenview Upper Elementary Schools to the new local public library branch gave students that opportunity. In addition, public library officials recently visited Adrian and Sunview Elementary Schools to promote reading. These two recent interactions between our elementary schools and the South Euclid Lyndhurst Public Library demonstrates the willingness to promote reading and enact President Obama’s very important program.
