Photos by Brush Students Selected for Display in South Euclid

Photos created by Brush High School Photography students were recently selected to be printed and displayed at various locations throughout the City of South Euclid, including empty storefronts near Mayfield Road and Green Road, Notre Dame College, and South Euclid City Hall. The photos were submitted last spring as part of the South Euclid Photography Contest and will be available for viewing beginning on Monday, September 14th. Made possible by a collaboration between Notre Dame College and the City of South Euclid, the contest was judged by Malinda Smyth, a former photo instructor at the local college, who came away very impressed by the high level of quality demonstrated in the students’ photography. Fourteen Brush students were selected to have their photography displayed, including Maurice Swift, whose “Victory is Awesome!” photograph garnered him the $100 grand prize.
