Arcettes Dance Team to Participate in Orange Bowl Half Time Show!

Congratulations to the Brush High School dance team, the Arcettes, who have accepted an invitation to represent our community, school district, and the State of Ohio by performing in the half time show at the Orange Bowl National Football Game in Miami, FL on New Year’s Eve.

During the last two years the group, coached by Kelly N. Parish, has been competing in state-wide dance competitions. As a result, this determined group of young ladies received an invitation to perform in the Orange Bowl Half Time Show with other top dance teams from across the country.

This is truly a once in a lifetime opportunity. This is also a great opportunity to showcase the South Euclid Lyndhurst School District. Only a limited number of high school dance teams are selected for this event each year. Through the local and national press this event will receive, our school district will be acknowledged as one that enriches student’s lives with experiences that exceed beyond the classroom.

This is the first time the entire team has been asked to participate in something of this magnitude. On New Year’s Day 2004 a select group of Arcettes performed in the Capital One Citrus Bowl Halftime show in Orlando, Florida.

Way to go girls! We are so proud of you!
