Rowland Elementary School held parent-teacher conferences last week, and in addition to the meaningful engagement between our SEL instructors and our students’ parents, Connie Parker displayed a table with information for individuals to register for county library cards. Parents appeared to be very motivated to apply for the cards, and students who did register were able to sign out a book on the spot. In fact, Ms. Parker, who works at the South Euclid Library, distributed so many library cards and applications that she actually ran out before the night was over. Thank you to the library system for taking advantage of this educational opportunity, to register people for library cards. Parents will once again have this opportunity at Rowland Elementary School during spring conferences.
