Sunview Elementary School 2nd Grade Teacher, Mrs. Kidwell was recognized earlier this week, as Newschannel 5’s Teacher of the Week. This special honor comes by way of a nomination that was submitted by a parent, Mrs. Gretchen Bates, whose daughter Gabriella, has been educated by Mrs. Kidwell for more than a year. Teachers are honored as official Newschannel 5 Teachers of the Week for their dedication to the students, inspiration in propelling them toward higher learning standards and a love of teaching.
Mrs. Kidwell, a veteran teacher in the SEL Schools, certainly demonstrates all of these characteristics. She was surprised with a gift from Ohio Savings Bank, who co-sponsors the award, along with Newschannel 5 meteorologist Jason Nicholas, who made a cameo appearance at Sunview during class. The South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools commends Mrs. Kidwell for her dedication and for being a fine representative of our school district.
