Twenty-three second graders at Rowland School, under the direction of coordinator and Math Specialist, Marcia Armbruster, participated in the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Mathathon. This event took place April 7-17 when students completed a mathathon workbook and sought sponsors. This year, these hard-working second graders collected $1,818.53 to help in the fight against childhood cancer and other catastrophic diseases.
