K-8 Schools to Host Walk to School Days with Police Departments During the Week of May 19th

The SEL Schools’ Safe Routes to School grant initiative that is providing over $400,000 of grant money for safer walking and biking routes to school is continuing during the week of May 19th.  The week of May 19th is being called "Walk to School Week" at SEL Schools.  Over the course of the week, each K-8 school will be hosting a Walk to School day to promote safe walking to school with the local police departments.  The schedule is as follows:

May 19th: Memorial Junior High School - Meet at 7:00 AM at the Southlyn Lower Parking Lot
May 20th - Adrian Elementary School - Meet at 8:00 AM at the St. Margaret Mary Parking Lot
May 21st - Rowland Elementary School - Meet at 8:00 AM at Bexley Park - Wrenford side
May 22nd - Sunview Elementary School - Meet at 8:00 AM at Brainard Park
May 22nd - Greenview Upper Elementary School - Meet at 8:30 AM at Notre Dame College

Please also note that Greenview is filling the entire week with Safe Routes to School activities designed to support the grant initiative.  Please see the attached flyer for additional information about these activities which start on Monday, May 19th.

Safe Routes to School Newsletter.  We encourage parents to attend these events at their schools and look forward to seeing everyone there!
