Brush EXCEL TECC Students Earn Distinctive Honors

More than a dozen students from Brush High School who attend Excel TECC Career Technical program were honored with various recognitions recently and the SEL Schools congratulates each of them for their individual merits. Juniors and Seniors from Brush High School are eligible to participate in the technical programs offered by Excel TECC, which services other area school districts as well. Some of the programs in which Brush students are enrolled include Culinary Arts, Cosmetology, Auto Mechanics and Medical Technologies. Brush students enrolled this year received a variety of awards, including the National Technical Honor Society Award, the Excel TECC Departmental Junior and Senior Award and the Hillcrest Rotary Award. Some of these honors came with financial awards, and some were honorary recognitions. In all, total scholarships earned by all students at Excel TECC exceeded $9 million. A special note of commendation goes out to our Brush High School students who received awards from Excel TECC.
