Important Notice Regarding Residency

The South Euclid-Lyndhurst Board of Education reserves the right to verify each student’s residency and other conditions of eligibility for tuition-free education as well as the validity of the claim of any student to an education in the District.

The week of August 4, 2014, the South Euclid-Lyndhurst School District mailed a letter to all households of enrolled students to verify residency. If you did not receive the notice, the United States Postal Service returned the notice to the District’s Office of Pupil Services.

If you still live in the district, please contact the Registration Department (216-691-2062) by Friday, August 22, 2014 to complete the required change of address form.

If you no longer live in the district, please contact the Registration Department to withdraw your students from South Euclid-Lyndhurst Schools. Please note that tuition may be charged for the students who have remained in the South Euclid-Lyndhurst School(s) after moving out of the district.

The South Euclid-Lyndhurst Board of Education establishes a residency policy for determining eligibility to attend the schools of this District. The Board shall provide tuition-free education for the benefit of children at least five (5) but under twenty-two (22) years of age whose parents reside in the District and such others as may be eligible pursuant to Federal and/or State law and the policies of the Board. This includes handicapped preschool children who are at least three (3) years of age but not of compulsory school age and who are not currently enrolled in kindergarten.
