Memorial ALPHA Program Goes to College

A wonderful group of young ladies from Memorial Junior High was recently invited to Case Western Reserve University as guests of Case science and engineering students.

According to the website at Case it is the WISER groups goal to promote the academic excellence of women pursuing science at CWRU by building a learning community and by giving them the tools they need to succeed. WISER (Women in Science and Engineering Roundtable) is open to all female CWRU students (undergraduate, graduate and professional) with a major or planning a career in science, technology, engineering, medicine or math.

The SEL schools continue to offer enrichment opportunities for its students motivated to learn. This group represented Memorial well with their intellectual questions and curiosities regarding careers requiring 21st century STEM skills.
