As the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools welcomed students and staff back this past week, one example of the district’s continued partnership with the community-at-large was demonstrated by a thoughtful visit by members of the South Euclid Police Department to Greenview Upper Elementary School. Joining students and parents at the annual “Back to School” night which took place during the week of August 25, 2014, one of South Euclid’s police officers bonded with students as they walked the halls, providing encouragement for the start of the upcoming school year. Additionally, as a gesture of good will, the officer distributed coupons to a local ice creamery to the students. The South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools enjoys a cooperative partnership with the communities of South Euclid and Lyndhurst, and their respective police departments. A special thank you for this kindness and generosity.
