Four AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) Program students from Memorial Jr. High school presented to the SE-L Board Members during the public meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 14. Each student passionately shared their individual experiences as dedicated participants of the AVID Program. As participants, each student has pledged to commit themselves to improvement and preparation for college by enrolling in rigorous courses and attending the elective AVID sessions during the regular school day.
