Veteran’s Day was celebrated throughout the district on Monday, November 11th with ceremonies of solemn gratitude and respect. One such recognition opportunity for our men and women in the United States Armed Services came inside one of Greenview’s 5th grade social studies classes, which featured Staff Sergeant Cody Bizily, who discussed with students his experiences in the US Air Force flying a KC-46 refueling tanker. Students were thoroughly engaged with the presentation and had the opportunity to ask questions when Staff Sergeant Bizily’s presentation was completed.
