Police K-9 Unit Visits Adrian
dogs

Adrian Elementary students had the special opportunity to meet members of the South Euclid Police K-9 Unit at a morning assembly in the school gym on Tuesday, October 1, 2019.  Patrol Officers Mike Fink, Miles Blansette and Patrick Delehanty were on-hand with their respective K9 partners Kolbe, Kaos and Arie, to introduce themselves and share how they work together to keep the community safe.  During the assembly, each officer and K-9 partner provided a demonstration of how police dogs use their training and strong sense of smell to locate specific items, such as illegal drugs, hidden inside a container or bag.  Adrian students had a wonderful time at the assembly and look forward to future visits by members of the K-9 unit throughout the school year.  Thank you to the officers of the South Euclid Police K-9 Unit for visiting with our students and helping to keep our schools and community safe!
