MJH Student Council Participates in Pumpkin Carving Activity

For the third year, Memorial Student Council sponsored an after-school pumpkin carving party, on Tuesday, October 29, 2019. Working together in groups, the students carved designs that reflected school-pride such as spelling out the word “MEMORIAL.” The activity was not only an opportunity for some fall-themed fun but marked the first time many students had ever carved a pumpkin, helping to make the experience even more memorable.  Led by advisor Jen Heitman, who also serves as the Administrative Secretary for Principal Kaple, the Memorial Student Council features an impressive eighty-three members, another record number in school history! Memorial Student Council members are dedicated to making a positive impact in their school and community and look forward to pursuing projects to accomplish that mission throughout the 2019-2020 school year.
