Channel 19 News Showcases Student Groups Throughout Early Morning Broadcast
ch 19

To kick-off the final week of school, Channel 19 News broadcasted live on the campus of Brush High School during their early morning program and featured four of the SEL Schools’ finest student organizations. As part of a week-long series that will feature schools throughout Northeast Ohio, Channel 19 selected the South Euclid Lyndhurst Schools as their very first spotlight. Brush High students who are part of the Arc Elite leadership organization kicked-off the morning’s on-air interviews in the Arc Fit Health and Wellness Facility. From there, Channel 19 showcased Greenview’s D.A.N.C.E. Therapy group, which helps students positively address social and emotional issues. Approximately twenty third grade students from Sunview, Rowland and Adrian Elementary School’s M.A.C. Ambassador program were featured on an additional segment, and Memorial Junior High’s STEP team rounded out the coverage. The SEL Schools would like to thank Channel 19 News for this opportunity to showcase the talents of our very own students.
